Hello, welcome, and thank you for reading our very first blog post!

You may be wondering why in the world a non-surgical joint clinic is starting a blog, and there is one very simple answer: we care about our patients.

We here at the Active Joint Institute believe that knowledge is power, and we want to empower you with knowledge about your health and medical care. And that is precisely what this blog is meant to do. We want to use this as a platform to provide knowledge, tips, and tools all tailored to our patients.

Our topics will range from explaining different treatment options and how they work, the basics of health insurance, to tips for the best at home exercises for those with arthritis. We believe that all the information about living a healthy active life should be completely accessible to you at the click of the button from a source you can trust*.

If you have specific topics that you know you would like us to cover, please feel free to email us at [email protected]! We can move topics up the queue at your request.

Also, if you would like to stay in the loop about what we are posting, consider following us on Facebook or Instagram for weekly updates. To find us easily on social media, feel free to click on the Facebook and Instagram icons located next to “social links” at the top or bottom of this page.

If you have ever been a patient at our clinic, you could probably tell that we like to place an emphasis on education. We take the time during your appointment with us to make sure you understand all your different treatment options in order to make an informed decision about your medical care.

To all those suffering from joint pain who want to learn about more options outside of surgery, consider scheduling your first appointment with us! We’d love to talk with you in person, provide you with an accurate diagnosis, and provide treatment recommendations for you. Take your next steps towards healing and call 801-495-3539 to schedule.

*Note. There are many sources of information out there that specialize in patient education. There are a few sites that we think do an outstanding job at explaining health related topics accurately and clearly. Here is a list of these resources!
