Ryan Riggs, M.D.

  •  Founder and Medical Director of ActiJoint
  • Over 20 years of medical experience as a physician
  • 13 years of non-surgical orthopedic treatment experience
  • Advanced Ultrasound Diagnostic Training
  • Over 4,000 annual injections performed

After graduating from Brigham Young University, Dr. Ryan Riggs received his medical degree from the University of Utah. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Arkansas and became board-certified in Emergency Medicine. After working 10 years in the emergency room, Dr. Riggs noticed that often patients with joint pain were being dismissed with limited treatment options. Many were being told that there weren't many options outside of medication and invasive surgery. Because of this, he decided to open Actijoint in 2012, a non-surgical orthopedic practice.

Dr. Riggs loves connecting with patients, understanding their difficulties, treating their pain, and restoring their active lifestyle.  He is constantly searching for ways to improve patient care and patient outcomes.

Devon is a nationally certified physician assistant who has been working alongside Dr. Ryan Riggs for several years. He is an Ohio native and attended The Ohio State University before transferring and completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Brigham Young University. He later completed his Master of Clinical Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies at Barry University in Miami, Florida.
